Apple Tree Educational Center is a faith-based educational/social service program serving the Truth or Consequence, NM and Sierra County area. This organization provides infant to kindergarten children with an accredited early care in a center-based environment with small teacher-to-student ratios. They continue to rank among the top 1% of quality care facilities in New Mexico.

Manzano Christian School is another arm of Apple Tree and offers a Nationally-Accredited Christian Education from Kindergarten through 12th grade as well as support services for home-school families. Manzano maintains small teacher to child ratios and individually paced curriculums.

The SOWERs for the month:  Don and Jenny, Pam and Ross, and Carlie and Stan.  All three couples this month are full-time in their RVs (No stick houses).

On our day off, we took the opportunity to go to breakfast at a B & B, the Black Range Lodge (est. late 1800’s), in the Black Range mountains about 30 miles SE of T or C. Don and Arlene, on-site SOWERs, joined us and a good time was had by all.

Taking two shower stalls out, rebuilding the walls, ceilings, painting, etc. and converting the room into a storage area was one of our tasks.  Here Don is in the beginning stages of the demolition.
