A lot has happened in our lives since our last post.

After working Toccoa Falls College in November 2011, we left our motor home and our cat with fellow-SOWERs just south of Atlanta.  We flew to NYC and went to Israel with a group of friends from the CBS class in Edina and others. What a trip!

After our return from Israel, we spent three weeks in the Twin Cities celebrating Christmas with family and friends.

On December 26, we flew back to Atlanta, picked up our home and headed to Lake Placid Florida Christian Conference Center and worked for two weeks.

Another group of special people to work with at a very busy Christian conference center.

Don’s back was doing poorly. He had surgery on January 24th in Fort Meyers, FL. We then spent the month of February recouping at the home of our generous friends in Captiva,  FL.

At the end of February, it was off to east Texas to work at Rockin’ C Ranch near Tyler, TX  for March and then the SOWER’s Office for the month of April.

Tom and Janey worked with us at the SOWER’s for the month of April.

Summer was spent at our RV site at Howard, SD.   We had several visitors during the summer and received help in the construction of our metal building in which we will eventually build our house. Several trips were made to the Cities to see family, friends and doctors. We also had an opportunity to participate in the Summer Missions Festival at our home church, Wooddale, in Eden Prairie.

We went back at the SOWER’s Office near Tyler, TX where Jenny was involved in the SOWER’s Board of Trustees meeting at the end of September and Don did some catching up on some long overdue home maintenance.
